Hey girls, I'm pretty new to LIW and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm really looking forward to getting to know some other 2010 brides. Also, I feel like I need to get a move on some planning. Anyone have any tips for great RH's?

Re: Newbie Here!
Thanks for all the love girls! I would like to get married in church, although FH is not very religious, i grew up going to church so it means alot to me to get married in a church. I'm looking for something that's no more than 120pp. Not planning anything huge, about 140 guests. I really want a RH that has plenty of photo op spots. Im looking for a date in June so something with a nice garden and maybe some water.

Welcome and congratulations!!!
for 140 I recommend Jericho Terrace, Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Riviera, Milleridge Inn Cottage House, Chateau Briand.
There are lots of great places... are you looking Nassau, Suffolk or Queens?

Congrats and welcome! I'm getting married at a place on the water, and they have a few gardens and gazebo and such. It's Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jeff.

Re: Newbie Here!
Thanks for all the suggestions. I have made an appointment to go see the Swan Club. I've been to an engagement party there and really liked it. I also went to a wedding at Westbury Manor and liked it. I guess I have to see some more places and start making some decisions. Anyone now how much pp they are charging at Westbury Manor or Swan Club? I'm thinking of a Sunday in June.
