I don't want to jump the gun and put a deposit because I'm blinded by it's beauty.
I've had an appointment there and asked all the basic questions (how much, what time, menu, etc.) but just want to be sure I didn't miss anything.
Has anyone ever thought of asking something AFTER you booked the hall that you wished you asked before cause it might have made a difference?
I spent 5 minutes trying to phrase this question so I hope it makes sense :}

If you love the place and asked the basic questions you should be okay. Most of us always have questions after booking and either ask each other or call our Banquet Managers. Before you book maybe you should look at two more places to get rid of any doubts or you may come up with more questions. Good Luck!

Awww.
I loved the Swan Club too. It is very nice plus they have really great menus!!! Biggest conflict we had was time of event and room guarantee. They have several rooms available and the room you pick has assigned start times.
My friend had a 50th bday party there for her mother and it was WONDERFUL! It was actually supposed to be my shower before I switched the date. Bitter sweet...lol, but I did totally love it. Everything was perfect!
Good luck!
A couple good questions are: -How many waiters/waitresses per table? -Does bride and groom get their own waiter? -Can they include chair covers? They eventually included them in my package, but I had to insist. -What is the policy if you need to change the date? You never know...wish I would have asked that question from the beginning. Never dreamed we would need to switch it , but we did. -Find out bar location. See an event set up - it makes a difference -Also, do food tasting! They give you a coupon. We never had a chance, but wished we did.

Re: Newbie here who loves the Swan Club but...
I saw several RHs after seeing Swan Club. No one compared b/c of soooo many reasons. But, one thing I asked that really made a world of difference for me was whether or not I could come early for pics. Of course, since they don't book 9 weddings at a time, they said yes! I also loved the fact that my room (Garden) has a separate entrance, bathroom and exit. They offer discounts for children and vendors. They are really flexible with add-ons and prices, if you know how to work the BM. I can't wait to take amazing pics there!

Re: Newbie here who loves the Swan Club but...
We're planning to have about 125 guests so we booked the Garden Room. At first I wanted to book The Contessa because the lighting was so beautiful but since I'm having an evening reception, outside lighting doesn't matter. The Garden room has its own entrance, bathroom and the cocktail hour in that ranch house which my fiancee really liked!
It felt so real as soon as we signed. I can't wait!
Right now, I'm checking out the vendors they recommend on their website.
I'll definitely look for your review. Hope you post pics!

Re: Newbie here who loves the Swan Club but...
We booked with Michael. We liked him... I mean, he's a salesperson but he didn't try to sell us the moon. He was straight and to the point and I feel like I'll get what I want. Fingers crossed
