I am newly engaged, and I wanted to say thank you so much to Alisa and everyone else for all of the 'congrats' messages.

Congratulations!! I am newly engaged too and just getting into this website....WOW is the first thing I have to say!! there is so much going on here :)
I just booked our engagement party and just found out last night...Dad offered to pay!! woo hoo..takes some burden off me and my FH.

Thank you! That's so awesome! I don't even know if we're going to have an engagement party. My big decision right now is whether to have the wedding here or go away and have a destination wedding.
