Newly engaged!
Hi all!I'm newly engaged and looking to get married in Fall '14. Lots of places are booked already.

I could use some suggestions on venues! We will end up with approx 250 ppl and would like a place that only does one wedding at a time. Also, we'd like to stay around $150 pp before extras for a Friday night. Thoughts??
TIA!!

I'd love a mansion or vineyard feel. Is the place in Huntington the Harbor Club?

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the boards!Have you checked out East Wind?? (biased!) The Estate can easily accommodate your guest list and it's absolutely beautiful there. I personally think it has a vineyard feel with a great price. You should also check out Giorgio's!

I was also going to suggest East Wind or Timber Point Mansion!
Definitely check out a lessings venue... their website has all the information on all of the mansions and country clubs!

Congratulations!Floral Terrace is amazing; one wedding at a time, huge bridal suite, everything included with the price, and there isn't a 20% service charge. I think they fit within your budget as well. I also really liked North Ritz Club. I'm sure all of the above mentioned are beautiful as well!

DeSeversky, potentially - though I think they are more than $150pp in the fall.I'm biased towards Lessings ... I booked with TVI, which is definitely too small for your wedding, but I loved Timber Point!

de Seversky Mansion or Bourne Mansion, they may be a bit higher than you want to pay, but depending on the time of year and your negotiating skills you may be able to make it work

Congratulations! Sand Castle is really great and is large enough to hold that many guests. One wedding at a time with huge bridal suites. They have a great package which includes viennese hour.

I'm not sure about pricing on these places, but check out The Woodlands, The Royalton, or Timber Point!

I'm in love with my venue The Royalton but The Woodlands was my second choice. Good luck!
