All night and no pain. And I danced ALL NIGHT! I suggest foot petals...no blisters thanks to them!

What are foot petals?
thanks!

I second the Foot Petals -- I discovered them earlier this summer and have already bought them for my wedding shoes. They come in a few varieties, but basically they're little cushions and pads you can put in your shoes so they don't rub your feet the wrong way. So far I've only tried the 'heavnly heelz' - I highly recommend those!

I had bridal slippers for the reception and it was the best idea i had for my entire wedding. If you plan to dance a lot then i would get them. They were pretty cheap.

My shoes were comfortable and stayed on until the after-party, when I changed into sneakers.

My wedding shoes were really comfortable and I wore them from the time I got ready to the end of the reception. I had bought slippers to change in the event I gfot tired or my shoes bothered me for any reason but that wasn't the case. Just buy slippers in the event you get tired or your shoes are a bit uncomfortable and that you way you have a choice.

I kept mine on, they had a small heel, I had slippers that I walked back to our room with but during the whole reception I wore my wedding shoes.

Nope!! I wore them for about an hour into the reception and then I couldn't take it anymore so I switched to the flip flops I bought. Unfortunately, the flip flops gave me blisters too! Of course, I danced more than anyone else at my wedding so that added to the problem.

Mine were off the moment we hit the Bridal Suite after the Ceremony. I wore a white pair of those $5 chinese slippers, and bought a pair that matched my BMs dresses for each of the BMs (Idea courtesy of Eroxgirl and her BMs, cheap purchase courtesy of Jax430).

I had no real issues with this because I had only a medium size heal on my actual shoes and when you are jumping around dancing the dress is swinging all over the place.

I don't remember where i got them but most of the bridal shoe websites sell them. I think mine were like $35-$40 and honestly it was the best idea I ever had because people crazy danced at my wedding and we were jumping up and down.

Also - I would not get flip flops. I know a few brides who did who had issues dancing in them (they are rubber soles and don't move around easy on the dance floor) and who found them to be very unstable for the ankles.

Slippers litterally feel like you are walking with socks on.

I had some silver threading in my dress, so I just got silver leather LizFlex shoes by Liz Claiborne. They were really comfortable and I have worn them again several times since the wedding. I think they were about $50.

I got Isotoner slippers from Sears, in case I needed to change, but never used them. they were about $10 on sale.

I sure did...I made sure I found a really comfy pair. I got a pair of Melbo Couture..cutest 1 inch heel shoe I could find...never took them off.
