I had my weekly check up and I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced.
She said she'll see me in a week if not probably sooner.
DH and I are in shock. I mean we knew it was coming but to hear the doctor say it's actually happening and that is could happen very soon is a shock to us.

I went on my due date and I was 2cm and 90% effaced... the doc said hed see me that weekend (due date was a Friday) They didnt see me till Tuesday night the following week. I was 5 days late.
I hope you are prepared. YOUR GONNA HAVE A BABY REALLY SOON!!!

That is kind of how I am feeling now..I have a little over 2 weeks to go and part of me wants this kiddo out really bad, and another part cannot believe it is about to happen!

This is the first that she said I am having progress and I'm due in 5 days. So give it some time. By the next time you go you'll probably have something going on.
