Newspaper Announcement

FH & I missed to boat to announce our engagment in some of the local papers.... Does anyone know how to submit our wedding announcement? And, are you submitting before your wedding or after? I guess at this point we have no choice but to do after- lol.... Newsday is one of the ones we want to submit to.
