FH and I would love to have a brunch the day after our wedding for close friends and family. any ideas what something like this costs? do they charge per person? wed probably do it in the hotel we plan to block out rooms. im at work and cant make the call, but im curious!! thanks!

It depends on the amt of people. Mine hotel said it can be anywhere from 13-18 dollars a person and it would be a fee depending on what size room we needed but I really don't know the specifics

I just booked mine yesterday. The menu's my hotel sent me over, were just out of our price range, so I called the woman that was helping me and told her the max I 'could' spend was $500 and that includes ALL (taxes, etc) and she put together a custom continental breakfast menu, which was $100 less than my max.
I'd talk to your hotel and see how/if they can work with you. I mean, I'm giving the Marriott 20+ rooms (some for two nights) of business...the least they can do is work with me to give my guests a nice breakfast before they leave ;) And they did! I'm sooooo happy! All weekend long I was a little worried and upset because I really didn't think we'd be able to pull anything off....but now, I'm happy as a clam.

It totally depends on the hotel. Ours gave us a choice of 3 menus with 3 different prices. They will be charging per person. Call the hotel and see what they have to offer.

We all just ended up meeting at the restaurant in the hotel the morning after and had breakfast together. It was casual and anyone who stayed there came down. It was unplanned and we took up a few tables. There was a buffet for a certain amount of money pp and we just took care of it. It wasn't that much money although I don't remember how much exactly.

we looked at brunch rates at a few restaurants, diners and hotels, and it varied between 21-32, depending on stations, location, if you have bloody marys'...we just shopped around and didn't chose to have a brunch-too much money-so we are paying for a breakfast at a hotel for anyone that shows-includes an omelet station, much cheaper. i sent out formal invites just to let folks know...
