i got a card in the mail, the next 'girls night out' is march 22nd in westbury.

anyone thinking of going?!

I'd really like to go, but I'm in Brentwood at work until 6:30 on thursdays. I also have FH with me....do you think I could bring him? Or would he hate me for it?

it's mostly girls (hence girls night out). They had a chocolate fountain and some cosmo or mixed drink. No major food though, at least not the one in the fall. I suggest you eat dinner

he could always hang out at the cheesecake factory or elsewhere in the mall (i.e. stores, food court)

oh by the way, since only the bride to be checks in (and can win prizes), no one reall keeps track of the number of people you actually bring with you

There is no cover charge Just go to the fortunoff website and sign up.

At the GNO in White Plains they had a chocolate fountain, fruit, crackers...and they also had cuisinart demonstrations where they gave out risotto...very yummy!!! They were also passing out endless glasses of red & white wine & also champagne. There was a cake vendor who had two large cakes and there was also a coffee, cappuccino & espresso machine.

Like someone mentioned already they do the prize drawings at the end. they did it around 8:30. They had a fashion show first and then the raffles.

they automatically sign you up for a registry...I went on the next day to deactivate my account b/c FH & I haven't picked out any items so I didn't want our names to come up on the search with an empty registry. I figure we will probably register in January 08 and then I will make the registry active.

It is a lot of fun so bring your girls with you. Make sure you look at each vendor's table to see which has a prize being raffled off and fill out an entry form. I thought there was only a door prize and a honeymoon giveaway so I didn't fill anything out other than what they handed me at the check in...when they were doing the prizes there were so many and I realized you had to look at each vendor stand for their entry form.

Oh well...maybe next time!!!
