Now that its the New Year, what major vendor are you looking for next?
I have to say this, I found it funny at the expo today. In the past when I said Oh the date is January 2010 I would get
Oh that is so far away
Good for you, making sure you have so much planning time
Now I say that, and the response was
Oh that is just around the corner isn't it?

i hate when people tell me i have so much time! i know they dont mean it in a bad way but i dont know, i just dont like it lol
but i def want to book photographer/videographer some time this year

That is so funny its so far away. 2010 is in a year. We live on LI where you have to look early to get the best RH/Photographer/DJ.
MY next thing is going to be RH.

Yeah, it annoyed me when people started saying that, but when I went to book some of our vendors almost 2 years out, some of them made me nervous because they said the day was booked, then apologized and said it was the day before.

We're going to book our photo/DJ by the end of the month, we already know who we're booking just waiting for the $$$!
And yess I say 'next August' now lol, sometimes followed up by '2010' but not unless they look confused.
