quick question .. i tried to google it .. wasnt as easy as i thought ... ok ive been hearing journalistic photos? can someone please inform this photo idiot what that is .. and what are the other options or photographs? . . i kinda need to know what im looking for before i begin to browse i suppose.. and not sound like a complete idiot ..lol if anyone has examples of journalistic vs ? whatever else post pics or if you have or if you found an informative website .. i appreciate it!
But basically, from my understanding anyway is that its a little more artistic and really tries to tell the story of the day by capturing everything that is going on...candids, the details, etc. as opposed to traditional posed portraits. But most photojournalistic photographers seem to be open to doing some posed family shots as well if you want. HTH!

Exactly what she said. We booked with Duet and there were 2 photogs and an assistant. One photog took more traditional photos and the other photog took more journalistic photos.

Photojournalism was extremely important to me, the main difference is that most of the pictures aren't posy and cheesy, they capture the natural emotions of what's happening....
Look into Jayd Gardina!!! We loved her work and knew she was perfect for us!
