Has anyone been having problems w/ their service lately?

they were just bought out by Sprint. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I always loose calls. I hate the service but I get it for a cheap rate through FH's company. I cant wait to go back to verizon

my sister..brother...and father has been having problems. My sister said ever since they merged with Sprint she has had problems.

I work for a company that carries Cell Phones and I think we're getting such bad service with Nextel because one of their main towers is down. It's just a rumor but one of my clients was telling me that she has a friend whose a police officer. He told her that Nextel has a tower down in the Franklin Square area and it's affecting most parts of Nassau.

Since Sprint runs on CDMA technology and Nextel runs on iDEN technology I don't think the merge would effect service.

Just what I've heard.

FI and I have been having problems w/ our Nextels for some time now, and I don't expect anything to get better considering they merged w/ Sprint (who totally suck). But I also heard a rumor that the service was interferring w/ police radio and they had to cut service. It was never verified though, but it's funny someone else mentioned it. At least I know I'm not totally delusional!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Ever since they merged its been HORRENDOUS!!! I really do not think I can handle seeing the 'system busy' message every time I make a call from now until my contract is up in................................ 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes and customer services tells me to take my phone to a repair shop because 'It must be the phone!'

FH has always had problems with Nextel, even before the merger (which I think was started over a year ago but maybe they recently finally combined their systems), so when he had the chance to get out, he took it, and I couldn't be happier! No more 'please wait, the caller you are trying to reach is being located'!

I hate Nextel..I know some of you may like the push to talk feature but it's annoying to me.

I had it about 3 years ago ---worst ever!!!! When i went to Daytona with my girlfriends I chucked it in the water! had ATT no cingular ever since - Love it -
