Looks really nice. The only thing I know about Islandia is that it's too far for us. I have to live in Nassau County for civil service purposes & FH communtes to Jersey City.

What exit is Islandia off the LIE or can you get there from the Southern State?
Danielle and I are going to look at a few houses in Western Suffolk this weekend. We both think the houses in Nassau County are just ridiculous in price....You cant get a decent house for under $500k and we just dont have that money to spend. Scott

The condo looks really nice, also like a development in Central Islip, but I don't know if it's the same one. Islandia is a decent area, there just isn't a town. But for commuting purposes, it's near the major hways and not far from the Ronkonkoma LIRR.

The website had a few of those condos in BayShore on it and most of them are under $350k...That is reasonable for a condo but I still wouldnt want to live in Bay Shore. Scott

I hear you on the Nassau county problem! I'm not sure of the exit for Islandia. I think it's closer to the LIE (near MacArthur airport.) Sorry - I don't know more about that.

YOu get off at 57...But you go past the first light! Go to the second (ther eis a Hampton Inn on your right) that is 454..Make a right and that should lead you in the direction of MacArthur Airport (if that is where the condo is)

Islandia was once part of Central Islip but people did not want the stigmata of the name Central Islip so they incorporated and became Islandia, however, I still think it is in the CI school district. Not sure exactly where these are in Islandia so you could be on the Islandia/CI border.

my moh lives in that complex! it's beautiful! i love their house! the property value has skyrocked since she bought! i think two years ago it she got it for 235!

very nice...Just make sure it isnt Central Islip school district. I know that some parts of Islandia belong to that school district.

My friends parents lived in that development up until a couple of years ago. The condos are really really nice!!! They are off exit 58 south on your left hand side of Old Nicholas Rd on a bend they are easy to miss. They are literally on the corner of Old Nichols and 454. They are blocked by trees though!
