Nice nail salon to take my bridesmaids the day before the wedding?
I would like to take my bridesmaids to get their nails done the day before my weddng, but I need to find a somewhat nice place in/around Garden City. My girls will be staying at the Wingate Inn in GC and I would like to go somewhere that is not too far from the hotel. I will travel a little further if you can recommend a really good place.

I always get my nails done in Oceanside. It's called Crystal Nails and it's on Mott Street. If you take Long Beach Road (going towards Long Beach), you'll make a left on Mott. Tony or Lisa do great tips and fill ins. Their pedicures are to die for! Get the honey pedicure!

Thanks Stefanie! I live in Long Beach so that's not far for me, I don't mind driving the girls down there. I'll have to check it out.

In Carle Place off Glen Cove Rd on Voice Rd. Fantasy Nail Club..I go there all the time. Annie the owner rocks!

If you live in LB what about Star Nails on E. Park Ave? I used to always go there when I lived in LB. Otherwise, I think Ivy Nails is good - its in Franklin Square on Franklin Avenue.

I used to go there a lot too. My problem with them is that they never seem to honor the appointments you make, especially on Saturdays, which is when we would go. I would hate to bring in all of my girls and then have them not honor our appointment and we'd have to wait forever.

I would go to Happy Nails in Carle Place. It's a nice salon and they do a really great job...I have been going there for years. It's right next to TJ Max on Glen Cove RD

Funny thing is, when I've dropped in I haven't had much of a problem, at least not an excessively long wait. When I make appointments is when I seem to wait just as long (if not longer than) if I hadn't made one. I guess it's just bad luck on my part. I just don't want to take that kind of chance the day before my wedding bringing in lots of girls.

I also go to Nail Spa in Carle Place on Voice Road. They are very good and the salon is very relaxing b/c it is very big and airy. They place soothing spa type music also.
