Hi everyone! We are having been debating about having a bigger wedding or smaller one, and are leaning towards smaller due to family issues.
Anyway, can anyone suggest some nice restaurants to have a wedding reception at? Nassau or W.Suffolk preferred, a waterview would be also great! We would probably have about 50 people.

The Milleridge has a few diff. rooms you could choose from but it's not on the water.

The Irish Coffee Pub has a room upstairs and the food is always great. That's in East Islip. A little further r=east is the Snapper Inn in Oakdale. They are on the water. In Bay Shore you could look into Captain Bills and Molly Malones they are both on the water. Hope that helps

there is a resterant in Bayvielle on the beach next to the carltun. They have a small room for weddings. I cant remeber the name, ket me think about it.

No theres another one
Wall's Wharf in Bayville has a small room for a wedding that can hold 50 people.

Thanks girls for all your help, I appreciate it. I was browsing through the vendor websites on here and noticed the Pine Island Grill at the Crescent BEach Club. Has anyone ever been here? How formal/informal is it?

21 Main in Sayville has amazing food. It is Lovin' Oven Caterers... same place that does Land's End and Flowerfield! Check it out! Prices range from 37pp to 100pp depending on what ya want!

Try looking in the sites and services book, or long island weddings. They have a lot of nice restaurants, I kept stopping at them but had to move on because of the capacity, we are having a large amount of people. Good luck

Bayview in Queens.....my FH and I actually own it.... www.bcbayview.com We are renovating right now and building a glass atrium to enclose the outside deck. (it's on the water). The atrium will retract in the summer....we had a couple weddings there last summer. It's really nice for about 50-100 people.
