Okay girls I need some help. I have to start looking into restaurants for my sister's bridal shower.
I live in Howard Beach, Queens and there are a few nice restaurants in the area but does anyone know of any in Nassau County that are reasonable? I think it's going to be around 30-40 women. Don't have a count yet so I'm approximating.

BTW the ones I already know I want to go look at are:
Carosello - Howard Beach Roma View - Howard Beach Pompei - Nassau (I forget the town)

oh the only restaurant i have ever been to in queens is carosello...it was really good food

my suggestions:
Giardino's on Northern Blvd - same food/owners as Carosello - GREAT FOOD ( tina's bridal shower was there if you want to see pics)
Abbraciamento's ( we had SIL baby shower there, very nice!)

The restaurants that you guys have named are really great restaurants and in the end I'll probably end up having it at one of those anyway. I was just hoping to find something a little out of the norm so she might not expect it as much. (my family seems to do everything at Carosello.)
I'm probably going to go check out giadino's. I don't think she'll expect that one. I know it's on Nothern Blvd, but how far is it from Howard Beach approx?

You could try Singletons in Wantaugh. They are on Rt. 107 or Hicksville road. Food is excellent and prices for private parties are not bad at all. Not sure if that is to far from you though.
