Vittorios is awesome! It's one of my favorites - my mom lives in Amityville Village so we go there a lot!

Also right on the Massapequa/Amityville border on Merrick Road - Hudson's Mill - yummy!!

10er crashing... Vittorio's is really good... i'm friends with the owner. the restaurant on merrick road in Amityville (cant think of the name... i think it's belissimo)... is sooooooooooooo good. i went there for the first time ever a few weeks ago... and the tortolini alfreddo was AMAZING!!! i grew up down the block from the place... and never went there. that would be my suggestion.

and if you go to the site restaurants.com.. you can find gift certificates for there and many otehr restaurants. you pay like half price for a GC. Check out the site and you'll see what i mean

Is it still there? I thought the last time I went by on the train it looked like it burned down.

There is also a Ciao Baby's in massapequa.

yeah i hears something about the one close to massapequa not being there anymore so guess its true. I know theres another one in LI, somebody said it recently on the NW board but forgot where sorry

oh and i asked DH about the restaurant we went to recently he said he thinks its called mercato, its in the king kullen shopping mall

Italian is a great choice always---but if you want something different Tai Show is wonderful. It's Japanesse and they have two places next door to each other on Merrick Rd. One is Habachi and one is a regular resturant. Just something different. The people are so great as well.
