nice way of wording this?

nice way of wording this?

Until I got engaged, I really knew nothing about bparties, showers, traditions, wedding in general.

I get the feeling that a lot of my BP might not really either. And that's nothing against them; I'm just the first engaged in my immediate group so no one has done any of these things before.

I want to let my MOH know that she and the BP aren't supposed to pay for other guests coming to the B-party, and that they pay for themselves. What's a nice way of wording that to my MOH & BP?

I don't want to insult their intelligence by assuming they don't know that others should pay for themselves; however, I also don't want to NOT say it just in case they think they are supposed to assume the responsibility.

I would just ask if everyone is paid up for the b-party?
just say you're curious and you want to make sure everyone who is going has paid for themselves already.

That is definitely a tough situation to be in. I would take your MOH aside and be very honest with her. I doubt she will get offended. Maybe she is unsure herself and waiting for you to approach her about it. Good luck!
