Can anyone tell me anything about Nicotra's Ballroom at the Hillton on Staten Island I loved the place but it's pretty pricey if the price is printed do you think i can still bargain with them?? and has anyone had a wedding or any other affair there thanks :)

I am having my wedding there. The lowered the price a little. She said because I'm getting married in September That was as low as she would go. Originally I wanted the less expensive menue which was 125.00 she gave it to us for 115.00 and threw in the cappucino / espresso station at the end of the night. But I changed it and added the viennese table which is 140.00 but she did it for 130.00. I'm sure it could have been even lower , I am not much of a hagler. The place is beautiful especially if your getting married in the gazebo. Oh I also got an extra entree for the dinner choice , cause a friend of mine had her wedding there and they did it for her so I mentioned it. As far as paying cash to eliminate the tax , they do not do that. If you need anything more specific forum mail me. Hope this was helpful
