Niece is now 3 months old and will still be a baby

at the wedding. We want to make her a very jr. FG and have her mom (my sis) get her down the aisle. FYI, we know the risks of having a baby and will be providing babysitters who will watch all of the kids) -- any good ideas for how to do this?

what about the a wagon idea - or have one of the bridesmaids push her in a stroller that is decorated nicely

or a pretty decorated radio flyer, i used to love those when i was little. you can probably paint the metal any color you want, fill the inside with rose petals and or tulle and the baby can sit on inside it.

I was just thinking that, you can decorate it any way you want, since it is a NYC theme, you can turn it into a taxi or city bus

i remember a bride having the baby in a carriage with flowers ? Pushed by RB if old enough

See I figure at that age they are so unpredictable -- I dont know if she would stay in a carriage or if it would be better for her to be held?

you have a point - shw may stay still for the few mins down the asile - with a pacifier maybe?? Is the mom a BM ??

hmm, well she'll be about one at the time, yes? She'll probably be at an age where the idea of being held or sitting for a long period of time is not the most appealing thing. She might also be afraid of too many strangers, as that is a big time for stranger anxiety (depending on the child of course). Is there any way she can just be included in the beginning ceremony, and then maybe have an alternate plan incase problems arise?

I guess it also depends on the length of the ceremony. FH's 22 month old cousin was just the rb at a wedding and he was fine, spent most of the ceremony burying his head in his father's (the bm's) neck or behind his mother (the MOH's) dress... Of course, it was a very quick ceremony, i don't know how he would have been if it had lasted much longer than 10 minutes...

MOH, but there will be a hand off person waiting for the baby to take her out of there --> that is what the planner told me wil work best.

i have the same problem, i was thinking her mom (my friend but not part of the wedding party) might walk her down but it would be cute to push her in a decorated wagon! good ideas ladies!!!!!!!!!!!
