Night before the wedding

Two of my girls are getting their hair done elsewhere and my FSIL rather stay in her friends house the night before the wedding even though she is getting ready with me . So basically it's going to be my mom and I alone on the night before the wedding.

I feel so bummed about this. Has anyone else gone thru this?

Aww don't feel bad.

I actually don't even want my sister around, and I live with her LOL. I'm going to need all the rest I can get so I don't look like a monster.

I actually asked my Mom to leave too! I wanted to be alone and get some rest, I really think it's helpful to regroup and have some alone time...you will be spending LOTS of time with everyone on your wedding day!
If you really feel like you want the girls there, just ask, I am sure they will stay with you and drive for their hair appointments in the morning.

did you want the girls to sleep over your house?? No one will be at my house and I am happy for that!

I thought one was going to for sure but of course she didn't lol. Thinking about it now it's okay i rather be alone with my mom we can fool around and get ready for the next day

i don't want too many people staying with me as it can get hectic. As long as they get to me on time, that's all that matters.

I'm actually looking forward to going back to my parent's house alone..... I just want to relax, be alone with my thoughts and hopefully go to bed at a decent hour!

I was alone!! The night before my wedding!! I didnt care because I needed the time to relax and absorb everything.. I saw a really close friend who I needed to see before the wedding to spill my emotions and I was feeling nice.. I was drinking wine to relax the nerves.. My mom had been to sleep early!! I think you need that time alone.. It just allows you to RELAX.. Believe me..

I'm actually not letting anyone stay here the night before. I want to have a nice quiet night, soak in the tub, get all my stuff ready for the next day and just have time to breathe and spend a few hours alone to kind of calm myself and get as much sleep as possible. I wouldn't be upset about it if I were you. Just roll with it. I hate staying over other peoples houses especially prior to a big event, you always forget something at home or don't sleep right, etc.
