Night feedings for 10 weeks old out of control!

He's still waking every 2 hours! We've tried everything from holding him off with a paci to feeding him rice cereal (pediatrician suggestion).......any other suggestions to get this little one to sleep longer?

My son is also ten weeks old and usually feeds every three hours. I was told you just have to wait for them to be able to sleep longer and it's a matter of time - nothing you can really do to speed it up. It has to do with when the baby's body is physically ready to handle it - eat more, feel full longer, etc. If you get any other suggestions, let me know!!!

I agree with LIJuneBride -- this is the sort of thing that can't be controlled. My baby (now 14 weeks) just suddenly changed one night, and I had done nothing different. Hang in there, this too shall pass!!!

How many ounces are you feeding him? I am feeding Jared 4-5 ounces every 3-4 hours and he is sleeping very well. At night, I feed him at midnight and he sleeps until 6:30am.

I'm sure it will all come along gradually. Hang in there!
