night weddings

night weddings

Do any of you have pictures from outdoor ceremonies done after dark?
I'd especially love to see after dark ceremony pictures at Flowerfield, as that's where mine will be, but I also want to see just in general, to get an idea of how people do lighting so that you can see everything.

I love the idea of a night wedding - I think that it's really romantic and beautiful - but I am a bit concerned about making sure everything is well lit, but still has that night-time romantic mood.

(I do have a lot of time to think about this, but I'm home on vacation, so I'm procrastinating with dreaming and planning and collecting pictures)

thanks!

depending on your lighting (prehaps a lamppost) etc... you will be fine...

night time was fun...gave us some fresh air..
i wouldn't say it felt romantic but looking at the proofs, they came out great...depending where the picture ws, you couldn't tell it was night time (gazeboo pics, etc..)

we went back and took more pictures at night time...
(this is the only picture i have online)

They had a bunch of night weddings pics in their books at flowerfield. Next time u stop in there, take a look. They light all their trees, there's one shot that really looks great. The bridge is also lit up and I think the fountains are too. You can really get some nice evening shots, I know we'll be taking a few there when its night time.

I'm getting married in the afternoon b ut since it is November it will be dark by 4 or 4:30 and plan to take 'night' pictures as well. Get some well-lit areas and you are golden!
