What kind of night life are you looking for if not bars?

If not bars what about lounges, clubs, I have heard that those resorts on St Lucia have all including bars and lounges. I think there is a lot to do!

Re: Nightlife at Sandals St. Lucia
I stayed at Sandals regency last may for my HM. There were 7 restaurants and several bars on the resort. There was always some activity planned for the night, such as a talent show or carribean fest, newlywed games, and there was one nightclub that opened at 10. But honestly, after spending the whole day in the hot sun, not a lot of people went to the club. Most people went to sleep, or did *other* activities.

There was always something going on, like bands playing and lots of bars to go to.

We stayed at the Grande in August and there was NO nightlife. I was content with that though because after being in the sun all day we were so tired anyway.

I agree, I think that is the only con of the Sandals resorts. I don't care since I'm usually done after dinner from being active all day. (and drunk)
I think that if more people complained about it, they would add more to the nightlife at the resorts.

We're thinking about Sandals St. Lucia too! But I'm not a bar person either and I don't think I want to spend my honeymoon in bars anyhoo. I was thinking my evenings would be spent with walks on the beach and extra curricular room activities!

From other reviews I have read, the night club there is not all that 'happening.'

From other reviews I have read, the night club there is not all that 'happening.' I think if you are looking for nightlife you might need to check out local places in town. There probably is not much of a demand for a big party atmosphere since it is mostly honeymooning couples who have access to free drinks all day.
On the other hand, some of the people we met there took advantage of the nightlife and made it what they wanted out of it. We would hang out for a little while then retreat to our room. One night we went for a swim in the pool with some other couples and played night volleyball and drank about 12 bottles of champagne! Not sure the management liked that, but we didn't care!

Re: Nightlife at Sandals St. Lucia
I just came back from my hm on 10/25 and to be honest, we didn't care for St. Lucia or the resort. The resort was nice but there was nothing to do and the night club was always dead. There was never anyone around. The food was not good at all. My husband and I are use to crusing and the food is always excellent and the the nightlife is always active.
I hope this helps.

Re: Nightlife at Sandals St. Lucia
I am sorry you didnt like it. I hope I do. I really dont care about the night life, I would rather get up early to do things and then relax on the beach in the afternoons.
