nightmares

Anyone have nightmares about the wedding day going bad? It's horrible, It's exactly a month away and I'm freaking out. I had a nightmare that the photgrapher was horrible and another that the girls' dresses were bright yellow. Am I just weird. Tell me I'm not alone.

I love Martha Stewart wedding, but my florist told me she makes unrealistic arrangements. Like a bouquet of pansies. But pansies do not hold up for long. But just try your bride magazines, they give you ideas. My fav is Bride, because it's big.

You have to pick out your bridesmaid dresses before you choose your flowers. You can look around for florist that you like, but you won't be able to get a price from them until you have the flowers that you want. Worry about the florist last, the big thing is the photographer and recption site.

nightmares

You're not weird. I think we all have nightmares. I keep having nightmares about my headpiece and hair going bad. I have the same type of nightmares all the time. That headpiece is giving me nightmares. Take a deep breathe and everything will be fine. Good Luck====Jessica

I also grew up on LI and moved to Virginia about a year ago. We are getting married at the Carltun next February 2001.

Where in Virginia are you ?

nightmares

You are definitely not alone. Coincidentally, I had my first last night. I dreamt I went looking for dresses and headpieces and all they had were old outdated dresses and black veiled headpieces (haha I should get out my dream interpretation book on that one) But my matron of honor is getting married a few months before us and she sais she's been having them also. It is a stressful event, albeit a wonderful thing, but still...stressful. The bright side is that sigh of relief when you wake up right???

"rest" assure

Girls...it's the anxiety. Didn't you ever get those the day before school started or before an important test? How could it not happen after all your months of careful calculating and planning. I still have another year to go, so I am sleeping! Good luck to all of you. I know your hard work will pay off! Try putting on some relaxing music to fall asleep to and keep away from sugar and caffeine a bit before bedtime! "Dr" Jeannine ;)

nightmares

I have been having nightmares myself!! I have 5 weeks and am crazed. I have nightmares that I forget something major (like shoes, the license, don't have time to get my hair done, etc.) They change every night. I live with my fiancee and he has been noticing that I'm not sleeping at night (very strange for me). I guess it's really having an impact. Don't worry, you're not alone. We all have these types of nightmares as the stress increases. I'm really excited though and as I get more things completed and feel more sure of things, the nightmares get better.

Just a vote of confidence.

nightmares

so glad that I am not alone. I have had many nightmares - mostly that I have no one to do my hair and make up - no photographer and even one dream where the only thing in my cocktail hour was doughnuts. The last nightmare that I had was that i drank too much champagne and did not remember one thing about the wedding.

I just thought. There is a beauty school in the same shopping center as Tri County Flea Market. Jon Louis Beauty School. I just looked in the Phone book 516-579-4545. This was the only beauty school listed in Nassau. Give them a try.

Are you looking for a hall in Nassau or Suffolk ?

So, I dreamt I was sitting at her kitchen table addressing the invites.

Another recent one...I am addressing our invitations(Which we need to do this wkend) and I look at the reply card and everything written on there is written twice in 2 diff fonts!

Have had some

I have never felt calmer and my wedding is in 29 days. I was a wreck a month ago and stressed. Now, for some unbelievable reason each day that gets closer, I am feeling more and more calm.
