Nimrod of the day!

I think I will give myself this title today.

I actually jumped onto a moving a train today so that I could get to work on time.

The snow has slowed everything down by me and I have been late just about every day this week and I didn't want to give my job cause for firing, more than I already do.

So I got to the platform just as the train was pulling away and I saw the person before me hop on and I said well, here goes. If I hesitated one second, I would not be here or least be sporting a rearranged face.

What was I thinking.

Anyone else do any nimrod moves they are not proud of??

NJT trains are a little different from the LIRR. They have sliding doors on the ends of the cars - they are usually shut before take off, but for whatever reason this particular door was malfunctioning. I have already promised myself never to do it again. The job's not worth it.

I'm glad you're okay! Remember, your health is more important than getting to work on time!!
