NINA!

Nina - I noticed your back - and I wanted to ask you - how did everything go with peter's grandpa's wake?

Hope Peter was able to go ... and you got to see him, and most importantly - that him and his famiglia were OK

Oh my....I stopped writing about it because people would probably start thinking I needed to go on the Oprah Winfrey Show..

So here we go..Ill make it short because I posted it on the other thread about this...

Pete got approved to go to the funeral ....on his way back from a mission, the day he was supposed to leave...his unit got attacked. Everyone was fine....but by the time they got over it and got back to the base...he missed the plane by two hours. The flights only leave Iraq to kuwait like once every two or three days. By the time he would make it, funeral would be over, and thats a lot of traveling. So he decided, while sad, he would just pay his respects when he got back.

Well on to situation number 2, this sunday, Grandma B, the wife of the Grandpa who just passed, had to be rushed to the hospital(aneurism, spelling?) And she is still in the hospital. She is one of those people who lived their life for her husband and children, so no doubt it was partially due to heartache. She is okay but still in the hospital....so who knows. If something happens there he definitely has the approval to come home. God willing, she'll be okay.

So thats whats been going on, its been a crazy a week since Valentines. I'm actually okay....I'm sad for FH, thats all. But we'll be okay. When it rains it pours but it can only get better from here, right?

So thats my story....I didn't post drama number two with Grandma because I don't like to rain on peoples wedding planning....

But it will all be okay because your prayers really help!!

Oh I guess I should add, I therefore did not go to NY because he was not there, but we sent Huge sprays for the wake and funeral.....Grandpa is now keeping Peter safe now

geez nina...im sorry for all of it...im so happy that FH wasnt hurt tho...ill keep telling you girl you are one strong woman!!! you are all in my thought and prayers
