I have spoken with Nina and she is okay. They finally got their committment letter the other day. I think Nina is just taking so time to get packing done and getting ready to move. There has been a lot of stress waiting for this letter. But she is okay.

Hey, I'm back!! It feels good to know that I was missed! Thanks for thinking of me!

It's been a rough few weeks for me, since the stress and anxiety and uncertainty of if and when we are moving were really making me depressed. But, like Michele said, we got our mortgage committment letter on Thursday (after almost 2 months of submitting the application) and we will be meeting with the co-op board on the 16th. Then we will have a closing date within a week or 2 of the 16th. So, it's still going to be hectic moving and settling in the beginning of May, but at least we will have a few weeks before my due date. Now, I'm just waiting for my surprise shower, but hopefully it won't happen until we move, b/c we have nowhere to put everything.

My MW said she would sign disability papers anytime after 35 weeks, she said she'd find a reason if I want. So, even though I need teh extra paychecks, I think I'm going to stop working earlier than I thought, so that I don't continue to feel so stressed out. I might stop working 3 weeks before my EDD, some of which is my paid vacation. I'm really looking forward to that!

Wow, so much happening at once!! I'm glad to hear you're finally ready to close!! What a PITA this must be for you!!

I originally planned to work up until a week before my EDD. Now, I'm thinking I'll leave sooner, too! Since I'm self-employed, I have no disability - or regular paychecks so if I have everything wrapped up by mid-June I'm outta there!! DH is on vacation 6/15 - 21 so it would be great to spend that last bit of 'alone time' together!

Nina- since we have the same MW your comment made me jump up and down!!! I planned on going out early somehow There is NO way I could do the commute 2 hours each way and what if I went into labor while in NYC? OMG. So I am glad to hear that she is on our side
