Nina Simone....

dies at age 70.

I am so upset. I dont know how many of you are familar with her singing but she was WONDERFUL!!! I loved to pop in her cd...sit down with a glass of wine and relax!! I am very sad that she died.

Reply, I love Nina Simone's music, my mom told me last night. Her music is just so soulful and moving. I hope her family finds peace at this time.

I usually listen to her music at my mother's or at the gym, which one of my favorite instructor uses for stretching and for ab work. Love it, love it love it.

I heard about her death. It is so sad. I don't have any of her music, I will have to add it to my collection because she has a beautiful voice.

Shamma Lady Day has a beautiful voice too. One of may favorites by her is 'strange fruit'. Listening to that song just makes you want to cry. Her voice take you back to that time.
