Nisen Sushi

Has anyone ever been to (or heard anything about) Nisen Sushi in Woodbury?

Went to a party a couple of weeks ago and the food was catered from there - delish!!!

They have one in Commack and its absolutely the best sushi ever, worth every penny, but you definitely have to make a reservation.

go to commack alot

in my opinion one of the best sushi places on LI!

very trendy but really good food!!!

I go to the Commack one all the time. It became a chain and now its very modern looking compared to its old family look. Sushi is good. I like the bento boxes myself there...

I loveeee sushi, but I think Nisen is just okay. A little pricier than other sushi joints, trendier rolls. I prefer more authentic places. My favorite is Kurofune in Commack.

Yeah that's another sushi place, well the only other sushi place I frequent. Much more of a homey feel to the restaurant. Not very modern looking like Nisen.

Both are good depending on what you want to eat and atmosphere your looking for. One is always better than the other in comparison.

Try them both out. I usually just go to on or the other on the flip of the coin, or whether or not I think Nisen will be loud and busy.
