nite of hotel?

i am looking for a hotel for the nite of the wedding for me and FH, well that nite it will be DH...

anyway, i would like somewhere with a bridal package, champagne, rose petals, chocolate, breakfast the next day etc. the works!

i called up garden city hotel and they want 500 or so for this package and i think that is too much. also i am not interested in the fox hollow.

any ideas?

the fox hollow inn is supposed to be really nice, but I know they are pricey as well.

we are staying at the same hotel as our OOT guests, but I don't think they do that whole romance thing you are looking for.

I LOVE the Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview (right off the SOB on Old Country Rd... never even knew it was there!). I will bring the champagne and rose petals and chocolates for them to put in our room, but they don't provide it themselves. I LOVE that hotel, though! It has EVERYTHING!!! (check out the 'Crescent Beach Club - hotel guests'... I wrote all about the hotel there).

The Wingate Inn in Garden City is where we're staying. They have nice newly redone bridal suites. Also, if you're registered at fortunoff, they offer complimentary choc, champage, flowers, and breakfast in bed the next morning. It's $300 for the room we selected. We've been really happy with them so far...

We are staying at the Fox Hollow. We blocked rooms for our OOTers there so it is $209 a night.

the residence inn is a nice hotel but my FILs will be there. i kind of wanted to stay away from everyone.

there has been some nice suggestions, thanks dleeny, that is a great suggestion. i dont have to have it all some things would be nice (i.e. champagne, breakfast). Thanks!

*BUMP*

I checked out huntington hilton and the package sounds nice; king room (just the room, no parlour), champagne, breakfast.

then I checked out roslyn claremont and found a nice package that includes champagne, continential breakfast in bed, fruit and cheese, and king bedroom (no parlour) for about $40 cheaper.

Has anyone stayed there? is it nice? it looks nice on the website.

I looked at the Rosyln Claremont when I was searching for halls. They showed us the bridal suite and I was not impressed with the room at all, the hotel itself is really nice though. I have stayed in a regular room at the garden city hotel and it was really nice. If it is only a $40 difference I would just stay at the garden city hotel.

it isnt a 40 difference between GCH or roslyn, more like a 300. 40 is between hilton and roslyn, with roslyn being cheaper.
