I actually moved to NJ a few months ago -- I am planning a bridal shower for a good friend of mine and I'm looking for a nice place in NJ (Hoboken, Jersey City or someplace convenient for those who live in NYC).
Any suggestions for about 20- 30 people? I plan to start looking at places this weekend.
Thanks, Septbride

Re: NJ Brides or those familiar w/ NJ
There is a great restaurant in Jersey City with a party room called Dorrians. I know they have showers there quite often- it's on Washington Blvd I think- right by the Pavonia Newport PATH station..

I used to live in Hoboken. I know that the Brass Rail and Tutta Pasta both have private upstairs rooms. I know people who have had RD there but I didn't go. The Chart House in Weehawken (just north of Hoboken) is on the water and amazing!! There is a ferry from midtown Manhattan to Weehawken - close to the restaurant so its convenient to the city.

Septemberbride03 - how was your wedding? I also got married on 9/20 -- after all the worrying about Hurricane Isabel -- the weather was perfect!!!!

I agree with The Chart House. The food is amazing. I know they do a buffett brunch and I think it's $15 per person. It would probably be more to have a private room but I can't imagine so much more!

There is also a restaurant in Jersey City named Marco & Pepe's that just opened up a private room on the upper floor of their restaurant. I just saw it a few days ago and it's beautiful and you really can't beat the food....YUM!!!!
Sassy75 - did you know about it? It's so cute!
