whats up with people finding EVERYTHING so offensive?!
in some NJ station (i believe PATH) there was an ad on the ground for beer and it has a woman in a bikini and people are protesting b/c they say its degrading to women b/c people walk on it!
they also got an ad for teh L word removed from all of the bus stops.
i dont really understand why people will TRY to find offensive material in EVERYTHING?! just doesnt make sense to me.
are their lifes that unfulfilled they need to make such big issues out of the little things?
maybe its just me? i dont know. i try not to sweat the small stuff though. lifes too short.

Re: NJ Prudes
hmmm...I guess I'm a quasi-NJ prude.
When I worked at Victoria's Secret, we put a store in a very elite, small town. And, in the front window, we had VERY LARGE ads of women who were just about naked.
There was as HUGE protest and I agreed 100%. The store was right next to the municipal building, near the kid's bus stop and it made the whole town look like trash.
But, I wouldn't say that NJians protest everything. And, not everyone cares about everything.

I saw this yesterday. I was going to post it but I couldn't find the picture did you see it? People have WAY to much time on their hands to think this crap up.

Re: NJ Prudes
I saw it. Its a girl in a Bikini But I then they changed and said it wasn't about that its about the fact thats in the floor. In the supermarket they have things stuck on the floor in the cereal aisle with kids eating their favorite cereal but I guess thats bad too

I am all for non-censorship but there are some things that don't need to be in your face all the time. I know where you mean in the PATH station @ 33rd St. It's not too bad, but for some people they just don't want it in their faces! I don't think that's being a prude, really.

Re: NJ Prudes
Would it be any different though if it was that Diet Coke commercial with the hot guy with no shirt pasted on the floor? I just can't grasp what the difference is. Would there be guys out there protesting?
