Holy cow! He is so not going to propose to anyone at the end of the season, he is going to go on tour and hook up with massive amounts of women! Heck, he's already made-out with every girl on the show!

OMG! That puts a whole new spin on everything. He's probably just on The Bachelor for the publicity. Let's face it, would anybody ever had heard of him or his music if he wasn't on The Bachelor??

I just listened. He's not too bad. But I am with Erica on this one. I'm peeved! Now you know that whoever he picks he is no way going to stay with!!! No wonder he agreed to do the show!

He was 'trying' to break into the music industry long before the Bachelorette even aired...so I don't think he's necessarily motivated the way you guys are assuming...he's recorded stuff before (even for a movie)...but, being on TV definitely gives him some 'fans.' However - ANY entertainer that's trying to establish themselves would try to get involved in other projects to promote themselves...that's just good business saavy, IMO.

All this being said, I also think he is a 'playa' as far as the Bachelor goes...DH and I were saying last night that THE ONLY reason he is doing this show is to get laid many times over by all different women! After all, just last year he was a 40 lb. overweight, depressed divorcee...I am SURE he wasn't gettin' any!

Now he even wrote a happy little book about his big year....

I agree he is not the worst I've ever heard..not that bad!! he is adorable.. and heard he is going to sing at Trista, the bachlorette's wedding!!!!

Because the other two bachelors did it to really find a wife?!? LOL

All these people go on reality shows, from Real World to Survivor to The Bachelor because they want to become famous or 'discovered'.

I think the only ones that aren't on a show for that reason are the ones from Average Joe. But even then, you never know.

At least 1 show - Last Comic Standing - was produced with the full knowledge that these people wanted to become famous.
