YES! Love it. I want walls like that picture. Our living room/den is blue like that, but a little duller. And our furniture is a dark brown and I love the contrast. Our kitchen is a cream/tan. SO clearly I like the combo
PS Love beach bungalow. We are doing nautical/beach house/tropical decor in most of the house. Our bedroom is going to be a tropical sanctuary. I am slightly afraid to post on LIF cause alot of them seem uber-traditional and formal.

Love the color! If you are fearful - I would be - Get a piece of sheet rock or board or something and paint the color on that and hold it up on the wall. I have done that in the past and it has really helped!

I love this color, but test it out first to see if you like it in person and can live with it. Paint a little bit of the wall that color and mull it over for a day or two.

this is way more fun. Suz- I agree- they tend to like Williamsburg BM colors- not my style. I think you all are right about the sample area- I'll probably buy a sample size first.
The inspection had some points, but nothing too much more than we were expecting- a little work here and there- it is a 60 year old house!
But my family is super handy- we have a huge team of free labor
My mom offered to buy us a fridge!!!
Now all we need to worry about is the bathroom...
Oh- and the mortgage counseling meeting at LIHP went awesomely. We get a huge grant towards closing costs- covers all but $1000!!!!

Oooh that is gorgeous! Makes me want to call FH and tell him that we are re-doing the entire bedroom this weekend.
He might not understand at first... I will come home to him rocking nothing but a toolbelt and a can of whip cream. But he will get it once I throw his pants at him and tell him we are heading to Home Depot. Again.
