im a plus size bride and i have a large chest and a sweet heart top looked best on me, and i got a corrset back ..it is very flatering

Go to RK Bridal in the city - they have a huge array of larger dress sizes and the woman there (Olga was my favorite) know their stuff and can help show what styles might work.

I am doing a ball gown. I am a 38DD. I am also having cap sleeves since I cannot go strapless.

I got a V Neck A Line...im the same body type as your friend. I got it at RK Bridal. They have a huge plus size selection.

I wore a straight across Ballgown. I'm not large chested so the straight across style worked well for me. If she's large chested she may want to try a Sweetheart neckline.

I am a plus size bride. I went into stores thinking, oh i must get an A-line cuz im plus size. No way, I looked bigger in an A-line gown. I ended up with a maggie sottero more striaght gown with a little flare at the end. It is whatever she is comfortable with. the bridal person she meets with at each store should be able to show her things to flatter her figure

Same here. I think the girls who work at the bridal salon will be able to help her choose something that will flatter her shape....
