Re: What would you do if... (long)

I think you need to talk to fh. That is the only way to get the truth. You need his side to understand.

I would not freak until you hear from him what the issues are.

Re: What would you do if... (long)

Was this priest maybe more preoccupied with you not being Catholic? Or maybe your FH was just venting to this old friend, someone he could trust, his fears. In anycase, I would definitely talk to him asap. I don't think you need to worry, because it doesn't sound like it is really anything to put too much stock into. I mean, why would FH be emailing the priest about these issues if you two share an email account? It just doesn't add up. but to calm your nerves, you should definitely talk to him.

Re: What would you do if... (long)

I can totally relate to that 2nd to the last paragraph of yours. I have been so stressed out because of my fi mom, nothing is good enough for her. I don't know how to handle the situation, I started to put my plans on hold but now I feel nothing will be good enough for her. Any advice will be helpful

atlas: Just talk to him. I'm sure no harm was meant by it at all, but I know you'll feel better once you hear it straight from your FH's mouth
