I am delivering at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow...and only because my midwife works out of that hospital. They also have a NIC unit. I don't think I would chose this hospital but I want to use this midwife so there was no real chose. I would rather have been at St. Charles or Mather- both much closer to my home.

I delivered at Southampton Hospital. I chose there because my only other choice was Central Suffolk Hospital... no thanks. My experience there was wonderful. I had an umbilical hernia repaired there the July before I had Emma and lived to tell about it.

I am having my baby at Winthrop, because my doctor is affiliated with that hospital. It's not too far from us, and I am comfortable there. My 3 friends all delivered their children there and were very happy.
