It took me 2 times because the 1st time was in a monsoon and they failed me because I couldn't see the curb due to flooding. I was pissed. Passed the 2nd with flying colors. ![]()

...but I took it in Virginia where literally the extent of the test was to back out of the parking spot, pulling out of the parking lot and driving around the block ![]()

No three point turns and all that.. I don't even remember making a left turn hahaha...plus I flirted my tail off w/ the guy b/c I really needed my license for a job ![]()

I took it 3 times in NYC and I failed. I passed on my 4th attempt but that was in Syracuse.

Got it the second time. It was hysterical, my FH and dad both took me and were standing outside waiting while I was taking it. My FH is from Sweden where there road test lasts about an hour. He said when he saw me come back 10 minutes later, he was sure I failed! He also asked my dad why you don't have to drive on the highway for road tests, and my dad said something to the effect of 'that would be too hard.' He never lets me forget that he took the HARD road test. ![]()

I passed first time, took it on my birthday and totally screwed up the parallel park, but the examiner was busy singing Happy Birthday to me (the BEATLES version, BTW). Freak.

Beat it on the first try. It was Friday the 13th and it was raining!!!![]()
