No alterations on weekends...

No alterations on weekends...

When I ordered my dress, I was told the shop didn’t do alterations on the weekends. At the time this didn’t matter much to me, but now that I have to get all the way to Islip on a weeknight, coming from Manhattan, I really don’t know how this is going to be possible.

Did anyone else have problems with this? Did anyone end up having their dress altered someplace else?

My place is the same way. But they're open until 9pm most weekdays. I made my appt for a Friday @ 8pm.

I have the same problem for my FG which is FH's daughter. We only get her on the weekends. I made her an appt. for a Friday night at 7:30pm...FH will have to leave work early to go all the way to get her and bring her down here to make it for that time. It's a pain in the A$$!
