OK...a little inside info...from the mouth of rick to his friend...to my DH to me!!!!!
1. the hockey game was set up...Rick is from Canada and played college hockey and still plays with DH's boss...when they got to the arena...he 'knew' the goalie...his old roommate...was the goalies old roommate at another time...they gave Rick a broken stick (so he said he broke into one of the DUcks lockers and stole a stick to use)...and the goalie was told to block all of Rick's shots...and none of Lanny's....hhmmmm (the goalie told his old roommate...who told Rick)
2. Rick had told Meredith that he thought she was fake...before even the rose ceremony...but it was edited out...but I guess if we had seen that...we would have known that he was gone...
