I am getting married at the Cure of Ars in Merrick. Unfortunatly they do not allow bare shoulders My wedding in is March. I have never done the shawl thing, will this be annoying during the ceremony, esp with me walking down th eaisle with my bouquet?? If so what ese is reccemoned for the end of March?

Re: No bare shoulders for church
How about a bolero (a little shrug jacket with short sleeves).... sounds horrible but I've seen some incredible ones!

Can you do a detachable strap? Will they let you do that? How can they dictate what you wear??

Re: No bare shoulders for church
Even if it had straps they don't want shoulders showing. It's a Roman Catholic Church so.... I have thought about a Bolero, but I haven't seen any cute ones, do you know where you have seen them?

Re: No bare shoulders for church
I am also getting married in a Roman Catholic Church but no one said anything to me about the shoulder thing. I am going to call and confirm, cause I might actually be in the same boat as you.
