Ok so my story is that I had gastric bypass back in 2007.. the first things to go were by booty and boobs .. I've been trying on dresses and since I went from a42E to a 36 (barely B), I feel so funny with dresses on. Aside from that, I'm 5'10 (WITHOUT HEELS). I just feel awkward.. My dress budget (And I'm trying to stick to it,) is 2500.. So I'm a street size 10, 5'10 tall, with a 36 barely B... Any dress ideas?? I'm running short on time to order.. Just need something that is beautiful but doesn't require too much up in the bosom area.. LOL
Please post any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
TIA

Check out my dress in my album...we're virtually the same exact body type. I'm 5'10' as well, and even flatter with an A, and my dress was an 8, so I'm just a TAD smaller. It's a sweetheart neckline, and with proper alterations, I think will be very flattering on my meager chest.

You can have them sew cups into the dress...it gives you the look of boobs...i have no chest at all & that's what they did...i also had a modified sweatheart neckline

Re: No 'Boobage'
look at the pics in my album - i am normally flat - i had two pairs of cups sewn into each side so i had 4 cups...it looked decent, my alterations s-u-c-k-e-d though, i hated my seamstress and bridal salon BUT if a crappy person can make me have boobs than i am sure a great seamstress will be able to do a great job with your dress

I lack in the boob area too. I had a corset dress which helped because it took whatever little boobs I have and squeezed them together and then they put cups in. It almost looked like I really had boobs! In fact my supervisor from work asked where the boobs came from

they can put cups in your dress. You can also get the silicon chicken cutlets so it make you look like you have clevage. When you go dress shopping tell the attandant you want a dress that will make your chest look bigger.

Don't worry! There are dresses to fit every body size and shape! AND, the great thing about buying a wedding gown is after you purchase it, they will alter it to exactly fit your body! So go find the gown of your dreams!
If I might make a recommendation, I'd check out Macy's. They have tons of beautiful dresses under $2k so even with alterations you'll be under your budget.

I kind of feel your pain, i wasn't that full in the boob area to begin with 36B and then lost 40 pounds (WW) now down to a size 32B. When I went to try dresses on every dress was too big on the chest, I am going to have them sew cups into my dress to help me out.

I have no tatas either! My dress now has a straight across neck (strapless) and I'm having them alter it to dip and i'm having cups sewn in.
my neckline on the finished product will be like this...
I have basically nothing on top (luckily FH is an a$$ man) and I got a halter with cups and it definitely gives the illusion of boobs. I also got a slip to go under it that has kind of a structured top so it looks like I've got something up there as long as no one pokes me in the boob.
I'd like to congratulate you on the weight loss. Can't help you with the boobage problem though, I've got more than enough , but I do second trying a corset backed dress with cups sewn in. The corset dress holds you up and in pretty good so you really won't have to wear a bra underneath. The bodice then sits better on your chest. Mine didn't slide around at all.
