No Carb Pasta

I've heard that Trader Joe's sells this.

Anyone know how it tastes?

I tried it on Christmas ... it's like chewing 'shoestring licorice' if that gives you any indication of the texture. Very chewy with no flavor.
My cousin is on atkins and she uses just a little when she makes White Clam Sauce just to have something with it.

I had bought the whole wheat pasta from them and it was so bad that we had to throw away our whole meal!! I guess thats how you loose weight...by throwing your food away!!

I bought Whole wheat pasta from Wild By Nature and tried it for the first time last week and it was horrible! I really thought it would be ok, but I really didnt like it.

You are all so funny! Especially Lisa re: throwing away the food! LOL!

I have to say that I actually do not think the low carb pastas are that bad. Seriously, the texture is not the same as semolina pasta, but if you're really committed to the low carb thing it's not THAT bad.

Try speggetti squash- I've never tried it. Check out www.foodtv.com for recipes with it.

I find that the San Gorgio whole wheat penne and spirals are good, but for some reasone the spaghetti is terrible. I think it might depend on the pasta you are eating.

I don't know about low carb. I don't buy into the theory of cutting our so many carbs. Carbs are out energy source. Plus, I just love them

I love Spagetti Squash!! I put sauce and grated cheese on it or just use butter and garlic...mmmmm!

That is so funny losing weight by throwing away your food!
