no checks..

I cannot find a photographer .. I want someone who is similar to i magine s tudios but is not 8,000. I called B rett M atthews and they say you don't get a cd of your proofs for 3 years.. that is nuts

Also, I want to look into djs but do most companies schedule appointments on the weekends?

Sorry you're having such a tough time with your search. Photography was the toughest decision for me do far. I contacted so many and lots were so expensive. I don't know the style of imagine studios but if you haven't already, check out Fade to Black, Gina Espisito and Benchwerk. All 3 do fab work and are reasonably priced.

That not getting your proofs for 3 years is insane!! Smh.. Good luck with your search.

As far as djs I haven't looked into them yet so I don't know when they schedule appts but I know lots of vendors are busy on wknds with events. So just call up and ask if wknd appts are possible.

All the vendors I meet with I saw during the week. There normally working weekends so they rather meet with you during the week.
Not sure what type of pictures your looking for but were using Lighthouse and we did not even wait 3 weeks for engagement pictures. 3 years is just insane.
What are looking for in a D.J? A lot of D.Js are going to offer basically the same thing. It just finding someone that has everything you want, who you click with and has the best price.

Yea im sorry u r having a hard time...but i do have to agree photography is very hard and i when to three places b/f i know what i wanted and the prices were great! but as far as the DJ with mine i made it during the week..and all the DJ i looked at i saw during the week ..b/c i work on the weekends so its really hard for me to begin with ...but good luck and dont stress yourself out ...everything will work out!

Try Duet Photography...they do great work, and will put a package together that suits your needs. Also, you dont give the final payment until you pick up your proofs....this makes me feel like they will be ontop of everything and have proofs ready shortly after the wedding.

I was interested in looking at Bret Matthews too! Did they give you that info over the phone or you had to go there? 3 years in ridiculous!

They didn't give me prices over the phone but I asked about the 3 yr thing bc I read it on here and they confirmed. I canceled my appointment because I am not willing to wait 3 years.
