No East Setauket Apt. Sad just venting

BF & I decided against the E. Setauket apt. After a lot of thought it is just TOO far. I'd have a 2 hour LIRR commute until June & he works in Plainview. I'm going to miss the fireplace & the huge backyard, and the amazing rent $950, but I guess its for the best.

I think what I'm most disappointed about is getting to live w/ bf.

He thinks we should wait until I know where I'll be working next year (teaching) so that our apt. will be relatively convenient. I understand and that is sweet and smart but still.

Ladies, thanks too for all your great reviews/comments re: E. Setauket.

If any of you know of any apts opening up in March/April/May, let me know.

Sorry there is no apt. available. I understand your FH;s Point of View. Im in Lake Grove and commute to Dix Hills, not too bad. DH however, commutes to Westbury.
I wouldve loved to live w/him before we got married but the plus side was we didnt and got to save lots of $$ to pay for our wedding.
We will be moving to East Northport in a month or 2 and my commute will be awesome and I feel so much better DH's will be shorter too..LOL..i dont dare complain about my commute..DH would just
We are hoping he can find something in Melville soon. He'd be even closer to home.

Aw, Cindy, I'm sorry it didn't work out, but I'm sure it's for the best. That's part of the reason why house/apartment hunting is so hard - timing is everything! But something even better will come up when you're ready and then you'll think Imagine if we moved to East Setauket???????
