It's always hard to be the new person! But don't worry! Once you are there for awhile, people will get to know you and before you know it, you'll be one of the group!
I have always found that when a new person starts a job, people are a bit leery about them at first, wondering if they will last. Once they see you are there to stay, they will warm up! Good luck and hang in there!

definitely give it time! let them feel you out, when i first started my job it took me a while to make friend as well. be open and friendly and im sure you will end up fitting right in ![]()

I work in a similar situation. And the place I worked before we were all around the same age and still hang out a lot. Its not the same not having close friends at work but the job itself is so much better that it is worth it.

I completely understand!! I am a social worker in an office of 8 people, that's it! When I first started it was very difficult to fit in bc everyone was working together for so long. Issue give it time and be open. Hopefully you can work closer with the girls and find some things you all have in common.
