Do you think it looks bad not to do menus? Is everyone doing them? I am already going to have the donation cards on the table so i thought if i could get away with one less DIY it would make my life easier.

Re: No menus?
no. last two weddings i went to didn't have menus. actually the last wedding i did see one at was one at Russo's and they had like 11 choices so it's good they had a menu!
i am only going to do menus if I have enough time... going to attempt them as a DIY since how hard can they be right?

Re: No menus?
Its not needed, but if you have a large choice menu like 7-10 choice I would... have a 9 choice and I can just see the waiters repeating them selves 100x, so I am doing them my self. Michaels has menu cards, its ivory, and in black script says 'Menu'

Re: No menus?
I plan on doing them, but I love doing projects like this. I certainly don't think they are necessary.

Re: No menus?
I've only been to one wedding that had them and they were nice but it wasn't something that I would have missed if it wasn't there. I am not doing them because we are having a BBQ/buffet.

Re: No menus?
you def dont have to. i never heard of it until LIW. when i went to bar mitzvahs and sweet 16s the waiter read you the choices.
however, i think its a nice touch and can be made pretty easily (many halls provide them for free).
we are going to do them because i like the idea, want to DIY them in my fonts and colors, and didnt like the ones my hall provides.
i dont think anyone will miss it if you dont provide it

Re: No menus?
I'm just using the ones the RH provides. I've been to weddings where they had none and the waiters just read the choices outloud. Not one person made a comment or even noticed that there were no menus on the tables

Re: No menus?
I'm not doing menus. My hall provides basic ones and that's good enough. It's not something that most people will notice or keep.

Re: No menus?
you don't have to do menus for every single seat... maybe just one or two per table?
