No more $1 double coupons at Floral Park Stop n Shop
I was at the Stop n Shop in Floral Park, and as of next week they are only going to double coupons that are $.99 or less! I was saving so much money, but I guess they are losing big time since it seems that everyone is using coupons that double for sale items. Today, there were 3 items that were on sale that I had coupons for, but they were out of stock. I guess it's no longer a secret on how to save money! I'm going to have to go to the Waldbaum's in College Point now, but I hate it that it's always crowded there.

Waldbaum's won't double $1 coupons anymore either. I go to the one in College Point and they threw that one at me last week. I would have gotten several items for either pennies or free!

OH NO, StopnShop better NOT be starting this at all stores! WB just started this last week (only doubling 99cents and under) and it has ruined my whole grocery-shopping-strategy and routine and even though S&S is a little further, its worth the trip for me to go there instead... unless theypull this also

Anna, it really screwed me up last week! At least they tripled the smaller coupons the past two weeks to almost make up for it, but that won't last. No one gives $0.99 coupons...they're either $1.00 or some other random amount. Maybe the manufacturers will start making their coupons $0.99 instead of $1.00, but I doubt it.
ETA: I could just eat J.A.'s cheeks in that pic! So cute!

I was just in Stop and Shop this evening (Oyster Bay) and saw this sign too! I was peeved. I spent 15 minutes in the store going through my coupon book and got out every single $1 coupon and bought the item just to use it!!

My Stop and Shop in West Babylon doubled my $1 coupons today I just double check my receipt now to make sure, because I just assumed when I left that they had, they DID

Jann, theres no plan to make any 99c coupons, thats their whole strategy in not having to double $1
and WB used to triple up to 75c, now its only up to 50.
Im sooo annoyed

The WB in Bay Terrace always had the policy of only doubling up to $.99, that's why I don't go there much. Which WB triples??

Niha, they are tripling right now only. They do it sporadically as a SPECIAL. They did it last week, and now this week. Sometimes they throw in a 3rd week. Only up to 50c.
