are you having a grooms cake? my MOH surprised her husband at their wedding with a grooms cake cheesecake decorated with the mets logo... maybe you can have a mr. met cake?

2012er crashing..... Sorry to hear that Mr. Met can not come. FH and I are hoping to have Mr. Met at our wedding as well. I have to wait until November or so to see what the schedule is for 2012. I really hope that it is not a home game!
We are keeping it a surprise from everyone that we are trying to have him at the wedding.

Mr. Met is free to make appearances only when the Mets are not playing. So I would go onto mets.com and see if they are home or away on your date (if your date is 11/11 then they will not be home because it is after baseball season so he will be free to travel).
I spoke with Matt who said he is responsible for booking Mr. Met's appearances. The price was $500 for an hour when I spoke with him. Mr. Met will travel 50 miles from Citi Field. Matt's number is 718-559-3093
